Yoga Classes

Ananda’s Yoga Hall is 15m x 10m (150m2of clear space), making it one of the biggest in Thailand. At Ananda we are very pleased to host some of the advance-level courses of Agama. Agama is a school of esoteric Indian and Tibetan tantric-lineage Yoga founded in 1998 in Rishikesh, India, by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati.

AGAMA YOGA

Agama is a unique international school offering its students the secret spiritual path of true Integral Yoga in a modern form. Based in the authentic, esoteric lineages of Indian and Tibetan Tantra, Agama provides an updated and upgraded self-development system whose theory includes comprehensive university-level teachings in Yoga, combined with those of other sacred traditions from East and West (such as Taoism, Gnostic Christianity, Tibetan Buddhism, and Sufism). At the core of our teachings is the practice of an exceptional system of Kundalini-based Hatha Yoga and Laya Yoga, two of the most powerful elements of this age-old tradition. This is an approach nearly lost today which relies on energy awareness during Yoga practice to produce a highly accurate self-understanding of body, mind, and spirit.

 YOGA FOR HEALTH

Beginning in January 2012, Ananda will offer special Health Yoga classes tailored to fit an individual’s needs.  Whether you are on detox or fasting or have high blood pressure, thyroid gland, pre-diabetic symptoms or any other type of condition, these classes will offer specific asanas for specific situations.  A teacher will guide you through a class geared to fit your lifestyle and needs.  Focusing on flexibility and range of motion, Health Yoga is for all types of students from young to old and beginners to advanced students and yoga teachers.

PROMOTIONS FOR YOGA STUDENTS

Ananda has special offers available to yoga students wishing to stay at our resort. Those staying for more than 28 days and attending the yoga courses can receive 50% off accommodation.   Anyone taking the health yoga classes or Agama yoga can receive 30% off accommodation for any amount of stay with Ananda.
